The New VooDoo Innovations Integral Direct Impingement Low Mass Carrier was designed to improve the Performance and Durability of a direct impingement carrier. The new Integral Carrier has an improved gas flow path with no impediments or shelves for carbon to deposit and build on which removes the potential for gas obstruction to seize the operation of the rifle. The VDI Integral DI Carrier eliminates the potential for carrier key separation due to carrier key screws stripping, fracturing, or becoming un-staked. This carrier is finished with our proprietary LifeCoat coatings to increase Lubricity and Surface Hardness. The 20% reduction in carrier weight decreases the reciprocating mass reducing felt recoil and increasing the Tune-Ability of the rifle for any application. All of our carriers are Full-Auto Rated, they’re made in the USA and come with a Life-Time Warranty.

This latest 7.5" PDW Tactical Elite Upper Review comes from YouTube user fireman1291, owner of the popular NFA Review Channel. Shot in Florida's greatly varying environments over a period of 4 months, this video highlights the low-maintenance advantages of our piston system, as well as consistency. He states in his review: "I have shot in all environments that FL has to offer including a rainstorm and the gun just kept running. It had zero cleaning, just an initial lube and thats it. No additional oil or cleaning and zero malfunctions". Check out the video below to see why he states that he is now a piston convert!

The question often comes up of what the difference is between an AR Pistol and a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR), and why one requires a tax stamp while the other does not. So we wrote an article on the differences between the two entitled "AR Pistol vs. SBR" where we discussed that an AR Pistol could not have a buttstock and is not intended to be fired from the shoulder. A recent ruling from the ATF has stated that a pistol brace, or stabilizing brace, used on a pistol is considered legal and would not cause the pistol to be reclassified as a SBR. Check out the transcribed video below posted by Mrgunsngear on YouTube that goes over the recent ruling and showcases the firing of a pistol using the stabilizing brace.

Check out this write up on the products by Max Slowik from Guns.com below.

One of the best parts of the firearm community is the ability to share with fellow builders and compare/ contrast experiences, bounce ideas off each other, and hear their review of products. This article posted by m24shooter on weaponevolution.com a few years ago is a pretty thorough review of the Adams Arms piston kit on an AR 15 build with the benefits the system provides over other systems. See his thoughts below.
